Primary Job Duties:

  • Perform the assembly of tools according to their specifications and instructions including using test instruments for calibration and advanced adjustments.
  • Support and assist both manufacturing and engineering teams with the necessary accuracy to complete tasks within a somewhat fast-paced environment.
  • Promote the production and assurance of Axus Technology’s brand quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(Duties may include but will not be limited to the following)

  • Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning, lubricating, or reconditioning of components as per established cleaning procedures.
  • Assembling and disassembling electromechanical complex systems.
  • Assembling and labeling various cables to print.
  • Support stockroom activities including organizing, performing, and documenting tasks related to specific Tool Staging projects.
  • Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor including to ensure that all records are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures will be required to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Required Skills:

  • The ability to read and/or interpret manufacturing prints/blueprints, schematics, and work instructions in order to build complex sub-subsystems.
  • Forklift experience, Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical Assembly certification, or other related certification.
  • A basic knowledge of how to use various diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters and other measurement devices.
  • Knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, torque wrenches, etc.
  • A basic knowledge of mechanics with an emphasis on how electronics and electricity work in computer-controlled systems.
  • Familiar with basic tools, standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a mechanical assembly environment.
  • Ability to carry out work assignments with limited guidance beyond the initial objective.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • A positive attitude is essential to the success of this position.
  • Must be able to maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with our company policy.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous on-the-job training for semiconductor tool sets or experience in a manufacturing role combined with the demonstrated ability to perform level I and II tasks per the training matrix preferred.
